We have a list of preferred caterers that we ask for you to use. If you have a caterer that is not on our list, they must be PRE-APPROVED by The Grand 1401. Additional fees may apply. Contact us for details
All alcohol must be provided by a licensed provider and must be controlled during the event. The Grand 1401 has multiple Bar Service companies that are approved and can customize your bar menu for you.
If you have Home Owner’s Insurance, you can usually contact your agent to assist you. However, we highly suggest wedsafe.com. It is very affordable and convenient as we are one of their listed venues. It’s also instant, so there is no waiting time to receive your documents.
If there is an event the day before yours, you will not have access to the ballroom until the following morning. However, if there is no event scheduled, we are more than happy to schedule you and your vendors for an early set up.
We require 50% of the room rental rate as a deposit to hold the date. This goes towards your final balance, which is due (5) five business days prior to your Special Event.
We have plenty of Parking for weekend events. Also, the meters do not run on Saturdays or Sundays. There are no additional fees for parking.
